Monday Blues
Yep as promised..
I woke up this morning, contemplating on whether should I go to work, since i feel abit drowsy headachy bludy..whatever!!! I decided to forgo my$31.8 per day work, sms my frens and told them to pass the msg to my supervisor. Then sleptsleptslept till about 11am only dragged my ass out of bed. So my phone had sms-es (so sweet of you two, u know who u are), Mei Hui Jie told me my supervisors havent come. One actually came late coz she just arrived from Tuas, then the other holiday guah. (Crosses finger that HR wont Know i din come, so i got yummy pay still:P:P)
Well I finally solved my SEP thingy. My rankings are as follow

2) University of Otago
3)University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
4) WHU Koblenz Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany

Of course, I would diedie HOPe i get into Melbourne, coz I have Not so close friends there..at least easier to have a social life...Though cost of living is like DAMMMMN ex...of course i also wish i was in Otago, but the plane ticket costs me a BOMB...and yadah yadah yadah

As a Logistics intern, You can't hire them for long. Coz they only need you to do those stuff that is needed urgently. Ok at some point, I do things wayyyy too fast. So it probably accounts for me being efficient:), so that u give me anything, I finish for you before u blink.

Of course I cant wait for the stinking month to end.
Hopefully at the end of the year. I will have more lobangs..Probably a short stint as a Finance Intern would be good. Good pay is a must..I nid more $$ for SEP

Bus lag from KL. Reached hall at 11.30pm. I had a big headache all the way, so I slept for about three hours on the bus. Much has happened (INDEED...) since the last I blog. So many things to blog about, and so little time. Well results were out, (gosh i even forgot the exact date), hm 26th may. And the post bout Finance Sucks??, I think i can retract it back..Haha..the unxpected came up. But I sucked big time for Asia Pacific Business. Well, life's like that. U do darn well for one paper, and u sucked the other one. Lucky I din get %^$#$. Hm, well its excatly one month (25 days) till I say sayonara ass hole internship. Why are people so picky?
Be it food, job offers/choices, People are just picky. I had to write this cause as of late, people around me are so freaking picky that it just gets on my nerves. No offence. But I'm quite a fuss-free person unless its so bad/horrible etc. that it just puts me off.
Scenario 1:I have a fren who is really picky on food. She will comment anything on the food each and everyday. So IRRITATING la!!!Altho she is my fren, i would be quite irritated by this behaviour. Coz maybe for him/her, he/she lives to eat. BUt ppl like I think i Eat to live. Therefore I treasure food, and I dun waste food, or dont comment much on food UNLESS its so inedible that a rational human can puke his/her food out.(Although I do waste some itsy bitsy stuff which are small in size)
Scenario 2:Pick when it comes to job choice. (Err..i mean internship).
Yep, now tis the season for internship coz we are 2nd years(sophomore year)...oops i mean end of 2nd yr goin to 3rd..So everyone's hunting for a good internship. For me, this is my very first internship, so I was very eager to get any internship i could get my hands on. I thought i lost all hope when by late March I tried applying for more than 10 Internships but No reply. Soon, all came calling one by one. To be frank, some companies are unheard to me, unlike those KPMG shit and blablabla. But I still tried, knowing I could stand a chance and i dun give a damn(wanted to say f***) whether its a big or small company. Tadah, two were logistics company, one pays about $900(good money eh) another which Im working now is and MNC listed in NYSE (current stock price$50.48)...beat that...also there were one for finance intern at some art exhibition company and another from Singapore Sports Council. So now i Know the job market isnt really hard to break through, and come to think of it, i remmebered my resume was like a piece of shit when I submitted to these companies and yet four offers come in. Imagine if I submitted my newly improved and pretty resume the nxt time round.
Now the thing is, I nvr knew that the company i work for, CommScope could turn out to be an MNC listed in NYSE. You see, nvr judge companies by its look. There maybe many MNCS lying all over the world, some are big, some are small, some are unheard of, but in fact are very successful but they just nvr build their brand name as memorable as PnG or Ernst and Young.(LIKE I CARE!!!) And for me getting an internship is already an experience. So PLS dun go saying u wanna reject ur internship bcoz the job scope sucks..doin admin job...or it doesnt match YOu...
I despise People who are so picky. And i can imagine them being jobless even one year after they graduate. If there is an opportunity for you, just take it..OR LEAVE IT...dumbo...after all ITS JUST A DAMn INTERNSHIp...accepting and doing it for three months wund DIE my dear. This is to my so called friend who is so picky about his/her job choice. That it gets on my nerves.And please dun keep looking at famed companies...U KNow what happened to Arthur Andersen do you?Enron case was related to it. It used to be a big five of all accounting companies. So i tell you, working in famed companies doesnt mean anything. Accept what God has to give you and DUn BE PICKY OR FUSSSY>.....PUSSY CATS!!!!!

Mother's day Gift/Before and After
Went to IMM again(Yes again since I went there the night before. Had dinner at Bay Street..Yummylicious) to shop for Mother's Day Gift. Was supposed to meet the aunt at Clementi but apparently shesaid some jewellery shops were closed down for renovation. You see, they wanna match their newly renovated shop with the newly renovated Interchange lol.

It was noon by then , so we headed to the Kopitiam. Had mushroom creamyspaghetti..slurp..
So off we go shopping for Mother's day prezzie. Had asked Momma what she wanted.coz i dun really pay attention to what ppl wear and bla.

So i got her this REALLi expensive..(according to my definition) earrings. Its realli unique..i show u..its got pearls, blue topaz, and also a tiiiiny diamond. the aunt thinks it unique, so I followed her preference and bought it. price ard $150-$200 shall not tell u...The aunt got herself a slightly cheaper earrings too..heart shaped earrings with pale red on one side and diamond on the other half.

Didn't hang ard IMM coz i did some walking yesterday night already, so boarded the bus to Vivocity..Yes again this place(I went there last week with my hallies)
Went to Candy Empire(my fav hangout)...argh no more Kitkat Mint..sold out..coz the family back at home wanted coz it was soo nice..and they were sooo nice they didnt leave for me ah thx...Later i bought me bus tix Harbourfront Ctr (SGD94) lucky there were seats left for the wesak day Holidayz
After tt i went to check out Daiso..super hate that plc..so packed..looked for smthing the hallies wanted..laptop bag at $2..but i think it looks small so i din buy it. Before that I wus in Daiso talking to my mum for half n hour. So i was just walking ard Daiso aimlessly for 30 minutes. Talked alot...I called her 3 Times a day can u believe it?(I just bought my $10 call card last wk, and tadah left $4 only damn!!!)..She was talking bout the shitty day they(and her) had on the stupid Public Holidayz that govt take as Wesak Day..so bludy dumb..i mean if Wesak Day is on 31st then let it be that day la..what for put on 2nd May and make that day so Suay..since all the foreign workers(construction) will hv fun during holidayz and go house breaking...Pissed man

I objected this view till i came to NUS...working is all about image..and later job performance..so i brought my top and blazer to Business School...(Yes my faculty) and took a passport photo at the photo machine..what to do so desperate..but photo machine quality sucks..and i purposely wear nice..do me hair..put on make up HAha..so it bcame like this..Before..After..

Friday..end of the week
I love friDayz.Weeek one hass passed. Eleven more to go.I'm pretty sure it will pass real fast.
Haiz i nid to take TWO no pay leave days lei, one for smthing good one for goin home
Work has been very hectic for me. It's non stop the computer five days a week. Good thing is I get to go home super early like five can..but usually i will hang out in the office for a while..paiseh ma...either play internet or drool along..The office culture is so relaxed..but today not la..coz got two ppl arguing over the phone when they are just two cubicles away frm each other..wierd..but i realli had ppl who argue at the top of their voices...soooo distracting
so my realli nice supervisor went on leave today...GREAT!....NOT!!!!
Coz my the OTHER supervisor made Friday my Hell day..i tot casual attire compliments CASUAL work ...apparently NOT!!!
I had non-stop work the whole day till 4.50pm..NOn STOP..i wus like WTF...when is she going to stop asking me to do stuff..PHEW luckily..finally...phew*sweats*
then coz i mentioned earlier that i had free time coz i finish really early. I checked my phone.
TWO miss calls..as usuall i go check who missed call me..some fixedline number.I thought "Must be that perveted automated machine going to ask me on a HOT DATE just like yesterday F*ck!!!".So i called up lo..phew someone picked up "Hello PS? corporation" then I wus abit deaf as usual "PS WHAT?" I only remembered PSB that time as PSB was in Science Park
But i couldnt get the idea. I was not affiliated in anyway with PSB or blablabla...neither did i applied some internship or smthing...then after awhile OH PSA AH???Then i guessed someone miss call me twice. Then the person say this place damn big like i know ah..i said NUS logistics scholarship la...then she said doris?Yep luckily i Know the HR in charge..Doris Chia..

So I realli HOpe fate will get me the scholarship..LOADS of research to do ...INterview..it will be the final process..i hope ppl dun show up during the port tour..then YESh la..i will get bwahaha..only 3 awards...i NID that money..after all the burglarry thingy..its time for RETRIBUTIOn...Thank you GOD...i cant profess how much i appreciate this...(Ok it really sounds like I already got it but in actual FACT i havent..so shut up)
Oh..n only today i realised..my Company is an MNC...y i so stupid..i memang noe their company wus frm US originally what..got branch in so many countries...somore not call MNC one meh??BOdoh Betul..looks like job propsects are Good there..got travel expenses la.employee benefits(14 days per year at least)...so cool lei...wah...

Oh..n only today i realised..my Company is an MNC...y i so stupid..i memang noe their company wus frm US originally what..got branch in so many countries...somore not call MNC one meh??BOdoh Betul..looks like job propsects are Good there..got travel expenses la.employee benefits(14 days per year at least)...so cool lei...wah...
For me work is employee benfits, good salary compensation blablabla...more money better..so i realli dun mind woring for PSA..although working in containers will be a challenge..PLS GIVE ME THE SCHOLARSHip...wish me luck..and wait for my good news:)
Ohz,my intern company is CommScope Solutions Singapore Pte Ltd. U can go google commscope. I know it doesnt sound familiar..but its REALLi a huge company in fact..but not that big in Singapore i mean the office size la haha
but i presume they have a big fat ware house in Tuas, Tianjin China, Australia. Vendor centres in Ireland, Omaha, Claremont(last two in US)

that day only 49..coz i work hard today ma..so rajin sent the report to US..to Chui them to deliver the goods asap liao ah..HAha..n the HR personnel told me that my supervisor very sked the day i will leave..ok im getting more self arrogant..

First Day at Work/House Burgled
So today's the first day of my work as logistics intern. Got up at 7am works at 8.30am. Spent bout 10 minutes waiting for the free internal shuttle lo. Dress way toooo formal But still love it tho. But seriously, I had to stare at the computer during my work. I almost fell asleep zzzzzzZZZ...guess Im just tired. Sooo boring just key in data lei...then sked make mistake. But quite fun la. Got to sign some contracts blablabla, got my card so i Can get into the office. Got my own computer, stationeries, got own email account, computer account etc.Good thing is i finish my work at 5.15pm and my supervisor said its enough for the day. And my stupid comp just wont shut down so i turned off the power from the plugs to save trouble. Was doodling happily called home and told father bout my work.Then later my mum called just before dinner. Did u know what happen yesterday?? she said.I was FUCKINGLY shocked i tell u. FARKING burglars went through the back (Speaking of which, I wonder my VERy FARKING inconsiderate neighbours didn't even bother to help out or listen, or the burglars were just to quiet??), broke down the grilled door lock, removed the window glass pieces, and open the door from the inside with thEIR FUCKING hands.TADAh...so what they stole har:FARKING LAPTOP, which means MY sisters CANNOT Go ONLINE LO. So NO COMMUNICATIon NOW...FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK..K Im just angryThe whiskey or alcoholic stuff my parents bought in LAngkawi...FILTHy THIEVES...AND OF COURSE THE GOLD JEWELLERY and ALL...ARGh!!!!AND SING DOLLARS...WATCHES earrings...So there You have it. Ppls indecent act of stealing. Sometimes I wonder why People just LOVE to steal. Our family is sooo short of cash and assets. And yet u take over our very basic/essential needs. For example:I saw this calculator (Texas Instrument somore)lying at our pantry, (obviously someone doesnt want it), but I had no intention of stealing it. I just saw and try whether it still works. Last time someone left her hp in the pantry. I downright knew who the owner was, and she's so bitchly arrogant BUT STILL I returned her hp..I cud have take it and USE IT..Since i lost my damn hp at that time. FARKING THIEVES again..this Time in Singapore. Lucky i assumed that my Phone is "free". Coz i paid nth for that bludy new thing.BUt the fact is now so much of the jewellery AND LAPTOp...thats my concern..dun care they drink the FRUKing whiskey, coz they will die drinking it anyway. So i think insurance, alarm, strong grill door, renovation might help. BUt it will depend on my father lo..very grumpy la he anywayz. JUst hope no more mishaps this year PLSSSSSS...need good luckAND GOD BLESS MY FAMILY PLS...CURSE UR ASSES THIEVES...tell u...if i ever c u IM GONNA#$%%)^((!@#@)#($%
