Ohkay, we had teambuilding yesterday(Thursday, 10/01), which was quite interesting as the name goes. Team effort is needed here.First we had to climb the spider webs(something similar back in TH orientation). Second was lifting the pail together as a team and drop it into another bucket blindfolded. Third was building a tent blindfolded(how lame!) but i totally stood there doin nothing. Fourth was to lift ppl up a wall or u will get electrocuted. yea..quite interesting
fifth wus fun too..communicating with ur teammates with noises.
at 7pm we had intro again from tauschies along with their culinary dish from their own country. I cooked curry chicken, in which I shudnt have brought so much. They ate my chicken but not the potatoes, considering the vast amount of potato being served that night, potato salad and mashed. and of course the curry, in the end i threw the curry away, coz very unhygienic but yet again regret coz im wasting my food in which i cud eaten..(well the woes of a stingy women)..i wus so hungry by then, so i had bread, two pieces of pork(which i realized its too much)..and abit of potato salad and mashed potato. Then we move to the international food table. I tried a few odd sweets, like pepper sweets and what not, tell u it's super weird..ate Wei Chen's tea eggs, Mari's fried rice yum.Took some chocs the US ppl brought, had tuna salad, bakgwa and pork floss Ian brought. Some sweet cakes from I donno where. Peanut butter and banana sandwich. I can't remember what else i ate..but the thing is i ate alooottt..hee..oh nougats from taiwan..slurp
lucky they had other drinks than beer, which was bottled pepsi and bottled sparkling mineral water. my first taste of the water:NONO!Dun like the gassy taste. If want gas must be sweet like pepsi. In germany, they use glass bottles for drinks, so weird har. Got to meet three German guys, nice ppl, stayed with us to chat for abit so its fun.
Tonight there will be a party at WHU organized by the Quietschies, the first years. There's gonna be alot of booze, but I'm goin there hoping to meet more ppl i hope..and take more pics haha..Yep just hope everything will be smoothsailing from now on. more traveling, more saving,more enjoying.

Tuesday, 08/01 and Wednesday 09/01
So, to continue..
We had another info session on visa,(which made me wonder, I should go apply for internships now ok)
Tauschie Rally was next, where we took a ferry from Vallendar(yes i forgot to bring my camera urgh) to Koblenz, imagine how many pictures i cud have taken of the view from the Rhine...ARGH!
The rally was basically games at station, getting know Koblenz abit better, mingling with the ppl there and getting them to participate in our activities. Of course we Tauschies did not fail to attract attention since we were dressed up in balloons and lidl plastic bags haha. Managed to make two Mexican friends in my team, Ricardo and Bernado. The first was to run around the famous Koblenz statue, then beer drinking which i stayed out, third was to ask ppl to write welcome notes in german and other languages, fourth wus to take picture in a photo booth with strangers, dance with strangers, we missed out one activity though. And it ended with dinner at Enchiladas, had tacos for 8 EUROS!!!Well nvrmind, had good company. Sometimes, having fun comes with a price eh..
OH i had German on wednesday..seriously, i can't remember a shit. JUst vague stuff..and boy it got abit boring 3 hours of class. I'm just gonna take this class not so seriously coz im not transferring the modules back hee..Supposed to go for PUb Crawl, but I don't drink so...yeap my frens had fun at Koblenz Pub Crawl

First day at school 07/01
Hello world, haven't had much time to blog since school started. Was pre occupied with quite a number of activities.
I don't know if I mentioned in my previous post but I have started to make a few friends at the dorm as well as in WHU considering how slow I open up to ppl. Hopefully, when I start my classes, I will get to meet even more Tauschies and perhaps regular students at WHU.
Another thing, my camera's not always with me and I donno why I don't make good use of it ..sheesh
On Monday, we head down to school for an introductory meeting at the chapel. Tell you, the journey to school is undescribable..The dorm is frricking far frm the school..like 15 minutes of walking..if that wasn't enuff..the way back to the dorm is the ultra killer!This is because, when you walk back up to the dorm, you are climbing gazillions of steps and steep slopes before you finally declare "home sweet home"...ahhhh such life..i shud have gone for krautkramer..since its the nearest..geesh
Ok after that..we had a tour of the university, which i wudnt call it a university..since its like SUPER SMALL can!i thought i may get lost in these buildings at first but turns out, its quite ez to navigate ur way round. The shops are super near..and most impt of all, Lidl is nearby too..So everytime when I'm at school(the past two days), I try to make good use of this opportunity to go Lidl and do some grocery shopping.Oh and Germany(and perhaps some parts of Europe) are serious about the environment, so NO PLASTIC BAGS when u shop, unless u pay for them.And we have to sort our rubbish when we cook, like bottles, plastic, paper and organic stuff..geesh
after that me, sybille and jane head down for lunch at a vietnamese restaurant where we had fried rice with chicken.Honestly, the meal wasn't that good compared to our stds back at home, but being the one who is not fussy, i gladly ate it all up since it was my first taste of rice for days, and mind you the portion is HUGE
yeps, then we went back for more info sessions on courses, german test..and VIP welcome dinner..
the VIP is basically a small committee in charge of organizing stuff for us Tauschies(exchange students) to make our life at WHU more fun!Dinner was great i guess, my first taste of the long bratwurst, super long can like 20cm or maybe even more..the meat wus tough cuz the sausage had a coating outside..together with bread and potato salad..yum..it made me full..oh plus beer, i had two sips and i gave up

First meal at the dorm
Haha i know..i just blogged a while ago huh. Well i did told u i am gonna cook spaghetti..so i wus suprised to see that the kitchen is ultra cool(as mentioned earlier)
best thing is, there were loads of condiments(which i donno am i allowed to use or not) that were probably left behind by past students, olive oil basil ketchuo pepper salt ahhhhh and many more..heee...that's super awesome cool
So my spaghetti turned out well:) kudos to me..and am gonna have it tonite ler...

Okie the title of my post now refers mostly to the location of me. Im freezing in my room. Donno whether my heater spoil or what:(

I'm uploading on facebook as well. and photobucket once it's settled. stil messy now la
the room's really cozy, but i wish it were abit warmer..wuper cold la..the coolest thing is the kitchen. it has everything!!!Now that's what i call a true blue kitchen. i hv my own cupboard to store my food stuff. cutleries, evern my own space to put stuff in the fridge!Whoooopeee:)
ok but i donno how to use the washing machine tho:(..will learn how to soon..
yep i gueass that's it for the day. gonna cook spaghetti la soon hee...haha..yums..my first noodle in days..

Holla from Frankfurt
Hello world
Its 1.01pm in Frankfurt. I've been online since this morning. The comp had some crazy problems, so i had to reformat my comp:(
Tried to go out..but the weather is killing my pretty face. Its super cold larrr...
There's alot to see in frankfurt i supposed but its tooooo cold..I will try to go out later la..
First, I dun even know how to open my hostel door..well who cares, im leaving here in three days.
Ok let me give u a detailed account about my trip right from the plane till now
My flight wus supposed to depart at 11.05pm however it took off only at 11.45pm. talk about punctuality huh.since no liquids were allowed, i din bring my favourite bottle of water on the plane. I get thirsty easily, so by the time supper came, i gladly gobbled my orange juice. Food was soso only la, my last meal of rice with fish.The steward and stewardess were sooo unfriendly lor. IMagine the stewardess asian with specs short hair and no make up( so like me!!), means i can be stewardess lor i supposed?And there is this aussie steward who is so chuan..$%^&him la..:P
Soooo thirsty and no water, they ask me to wait till the snack bags come..and inside:only a 330ml evian water..WTF
Breakfast wus a normal fare. And we landed on time. Oh did i mentioned that their in flight entertainment system sucks. I was soo tired that i slept before enjoying my first movie. Sucksss...
After i landed in terminal 2i had to go to the loo, and at the same time i was very thirsty..
so i went in. later i just follow the crowd out, took the skytrain to terminal one..and bam..I WUS LOST!!!!
Not knowing how to get out, i asked the service guy at the terminal one, he pointed just in front of me..phew it wus just infront of me..WHAT an idiot..
so i went out..go to baggage claims..but i cant find my flight..after asking(AGAIN!) the guy said my flight landed in terminal 2..which means my baggage had to be in terminal 2...arghs...so i exited into arrival hall in terminal 1..took the skytrain back to terminal 2 and collect my baggage..in btwn i was panting like mad and sweating thou outside the weather is super cold.
so when i got to terminal 2..i cudnt possibly go in and get my baggage since i'm outside of the departing gates.so for the third time, i had to ask a person to give me a permit to get my luggage. PS:ppl there are scary looking and shiong looking:(
so i got my luggage after getting in, by which everyone had left, and the place wus quite.
wow i took about 1.5 hours to clear everything. despite that my nightmare wasn't over. i had trouble purchasing tickets to frankfurt main station. dun understand any deutsch that spurt right there sighz. till i asked someone again and he showed me. but got no small change!!!so again i asked this nice guy from new york for change. then later he chatted for a shortwhile with me.usual old man chat
oh btw, i saw some old man peeing on the railway.gosh..that it ultra gross la
the train looks old. and with all my big luggage i even have to lug it up the train since the platform is lower then the train step. an indian guy helped me with the luggage and also helped direct me to the station.thanks indian guy
after reaching the station..i wus super super super tired..with all the carrying and lugging
i wus still very very thirsty..imagine hours without water..i felt like..err dying..plus im hungry too
so..yep i couldnt find my hostel.. although they say it wusopposite the train station..in front..i cant see it..
wanted to ask ppl..but i abit thick face la u c..so i went to the service counter..wanted to ask..but i saw this map..and saw kaiserstrasse..then yay..so i headed there la..think i reached there at 8am..amazing right..i took such a long time since i landed at 5 plus to get to somewhere which is only 17 minutes frm the airport..dumbass
so lugging all my fat luggage up the small elevator. i reached the reception, only to find that i can check in at 2pm...SIGHZ..which means i had to go lurk around for another 6 hours..so went and walk around the train station..the food there is exxx..
they sell mainly bread cheapest i saw wus ,99 euros. a tomato and mozarella bread costs u 1.50 euros aroun there la. there are some breads with cool fillings which costs around 2-3 euros.now that's ex. asian food also available 4-5 euros, anyone?burger king and mcd are also available, but the prices are almost the same as in singapore albeit different currency. now that's crazy. But i saw a chicken wrap at mcd which costs 1.99 euros..maybe i can consider guah
So miss clever went to buy her 1.5 l water first coz she wus dying of thirst. that cost 2 euros..ex, but water is a necessity. food is actually a necessity, but i still went to the supermarket and buy a loaf of bread which cost 1.59 euros..not that bad..i wus sooo hungry that i ate 4 slices of bread..the last one with belacan..:)yum..then i went to sleep at 4pm frankfurt time to recover my lost of sleep on the plane
oh, i share my 8 bed room dorm with 5 italian guys. They are nice, but abit loud, especially when i slept..they were in and out of the room.talking really loud..omg..and only returning to sleep at 5am????gosh..are u kidding me..oh the remaining 2 ppl are taiwanese one boy one gurl. dun see them often tho. would like to know if they are going to whu for exchange. that wud be nice.
oh in the middle of the night, stomach growled like crazy..
i ate alot for bkfast. cereals, tea, four slices of bread one weird bread..with nutella and honey. and i drank honey with water too..not bad..but im hungry now..maybe eat more bread with belacan or my salmon..yum..
so this is thus far my adventures in frankfurt..i will tell u more when i get to koblenz..
this is long-winded me signing off for now.
