Couldn't stay at home much longer so I decided to treat myself to a movie. Wanted to watch it with the sisters but apparently they only have single seats left. So I went in and watch alone. The movie? Princess and the Frog. Never failed to catch Disney/Pixar movies, lest the movie is really bad. I like how the storyline has a different twist from the original fairy tale. Plus, it's quite funny. Love Anika Rose's voice. Oh, the movie has songs too.
After the movie, we had dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimps
We had the Shrimp Dippin' Broth, Clam Chowder, and a dinner set consisting of Garlic Bread, Caesars Salad and Assorted Seafood. Dessert was Choc Chip Cookie Sundae. Lest you're a seafood fan, I wouldn't recommend this place. Service was pretty fast though. Dinner was on me since I withdrew my "gains" to splurge hehe.
Oh, I had Matcha Ice cream @Kindori's hehe
Haha over-indulged, but at least I'm doing my one-hour workout daily hee.
Yup another boring day. Hopefully I'll keep myself occupied to the brim next year.

It's that time of the year: Christmas Caroling
If you noticed, I was trying very hard to type properly in my previous post. Going to be an English teacher ma. Cannot afford to type in all the acronyms and excessive punctuations rite?? Oops!
November 09-So from where I left off, I moved into a 3 bedroom HDB flat with Hui-En and her family: sister and soon-to-be bro-in-law plus her brother, total 5 people including me. Living with friends is still manageable, but living with a friend's family needs getting used to.
1: Have to get used to the family lifestyle and habits. Recycling was one of them, but I have to admit it's a very good habit.
2: Have to get used to sharing the toilet, especially so if it's not clean most of the time
3: Have to get used to leaving all the electrical appliances switched on, since back at home we switch everything off when it's not in use.
4: This was during the initial phase, the first two weeks after we moved in: Realizing that my food in the fridge is missing, which was resolved with labeled shelf in the fridge.
5: Have to get used to the "messiness" in and around the house. I have to say in terms of neatness, everyone has a different threshold of neatness. Mine is neat but not overly-neat. Not like those housewives who have very high expectations of cleanliness and neatness.
Hopefully with time, I can get used to their living style, although it won't be easy.
December 09-
Part 1)Had an early Birthday celebration at home this year. Mum bought me the whole Cheese Brownie Cake from Dessert's Bar.
Back in Singapore, went out for lunch with my aunt @ Swensen's and then dinner with Yiny and Zunny, my two juniors from Nat Choir. Yiny used to be my roommate for a few nights in Genting when I accompanied them for an International Choir Competition. Zunny is studying in Singapore and Yiny is here for a 1-month attachment. The two were acting weirdly and sticking very close to each other when we were on the escalators and walking aimlessly while looking for a place to eat at Ion Orchard. We settled for Watami and ordered 4 dishes. After that, we went to Marvelous Cream and shared a waffle ice-cream bowl and that's when they pull out the surprise. It WAS indeed a surprise coz I never realise Zunny was carrying a breadtalk plastic bag and they were sms-ing each other discreetly. Consider it a good job for fooling me ah..Then when I went back, there was something fishy going on as I know Hui-En will have something under her sleeves. Turns out she and Yiny were in contact, AGAIN via sms when we were about to reach home. Had green tea swiss roll as my cake heh..LOVES LOVES green tea. Thanks for making my day a great one.

Part 2)This is usually the most exciting part of the year yet the most tiring one. Surprisingly this year it wasn't tiring but it was fun.
Although I only get to sing twice this year, it might be a blessing in disguise since we get to focus on doing our best for that particular show and get to spend more time mingling and catching up with the rest, and of course teasing a few of them in the midst. Perhaps I thought it might be my last year singing with the group (hopefully not), so I really appreciate the time spent singing with them. This time, things are much better and not so uptight and intense like last year. Everyone had a jolly good time up in the "mountains" right?
It started with the long long journey up to Cameron Highlands. Yee Mun was so nice to prepare us a "picnic breakfast" in the car: sandwiches (chicken and tuna) with nutrigen all packed in a cooler bag. And the jokes kept coming especially if you're in William's car. We kept laughing non-stop throughout the whole journey. And in case I forget to tease Will next year, he ate 3 sandwiches (6 slices of bread topped with chicken and lettuce), 1 nasi lemak which he ate in the rest area, and 1 McD coffee. Hahahaha.
After it seemed like forever, we finally reached our destination: Cameron Highlands Resort. For most of them, it was their 2nd trip up since they sang last year. Checked-in and had lunch. The room was typical for a 5-star resort, with a poster bed in the room.
Fish Pond
But I was quite shocked at how exorbitant the food prices were when I saw the lunch menu. RM48 for a spaghetti aglio olio? I can cook myself la haa. Decided to order something light yet special, something that I can't cook by myself. So I went for the Chicken, Mushroom and Leek pie. Boy, it was delicious, the gravy drizzled over the pie was yummy, and the sides: mashed was gooood, cauliflower cheese was OK.
The service was very slow and inefficient though. I'm thinking they only have one chef who is very very slow. They had forgotten one order and the desserts as well. Oh, the guys opted for desserts after their meal. No wonder they are guys. Foo can beat William with his lunch eats: Club Sandwich, His dessert to go with his 2 Espressos, plus an Orange Juice. And he was complaining about being hungry barely 4 hours after we had our hi-tea.
Speaking of hi-tea, we had our lunch at 2 plus and hi-tea at 5 plus, because the dinner menu wasn't available until after 6pm. So we indulged ourselves quite abit with the food haha. At RM55++ per pax, the hi-tea was OK. But it was my first time, so I'm still happy though. Again, they took like forever to serve the hi-tea. Bake some scones also take so long one ah? Make sandwiches also take 30 minutes ah??
We started with the scones, spread with jam and cream cheese?Yummy!!! And then moved up to the sandwiches (tuna and egg). Last but not least are my favourite: assorted selection of cakes. We had strawberry tart, choc pudding, fruit cake, choc cake, lemon cake. Can't remember what's the other one though. Not to forget the tea too. Mine's Lemon with Tangerine, which I barely drank, as usual.
Went to get dressed, make-up and hair. Wait wait and wait till 9 plus then only we got to sing "Joy, to the World" out in the cold. Adjourned to the lounge while the guests enjoy their first three courses. Took the opportunity to snap, snap and snap pictures. Think this year was the only year that we have alot of time to snap pictures while waiting to sing. I don't remember taking any pics last year. We only got to sing the remaining 4 songs at 10 plus, close to 11. Everyone did well, except me :D (Still depending immensely on Wai Kuan jie heee). And then snap, snap, snap again and was asked to sing another two songs. After that snap snap abit then changed and wait while the guys went down to "ying chou" the guests by singing with them. It was about 12 plus or 1 when we went out to look for food to fill our grumbling stomachs.
Yup that was the one and only night that I wished it would have been two, or more. When you have less opportunities to carol, you tend to appreciate that one and only one session.
Thought we could have stayed on much longer up there, but someone has to go to work so he "ruined" my plans to buy strawberries hahaha. Hopefully there's a next time. :D
Before we went off, we had our breakfast at the resort. No pictures though. The waiter/waitress will first serve fruit of your choice from the fruit platter. After that, they brought a basket of croissants, danish pastry and muffins, while waiting for our ala-carte breakfast order. Half ordered the Highlands Omelette (with aged french cheese, smoked salmon and chives) and the other two, including me ordered the two eggs any style. I ordered scrambled and soft-boil eggs to go with my sides which consist of: hash brown topped on a french toast, chipolata sausage wrapped with beef bacon and wild mushrooms. For the drinks, it was coffee/tea and orange/watermelon juice.
Yup, that sums up my christmas caroling for the year. Hopefully, if my jobs permits, I can come back and perform during the school holidays. After so many years, I have grew very attached to the group, and not singing once a year is very depressing in fact. Hopefully next year, when I'm back my mum can let me drive laaaa. In Malaysia, it's quite impossible if you don't drive, unlike in Singapore.
To end the year, will be going to Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi and Wuzhen as my end-of-the-year trip. Flying to Singapore the very next day once I return from China to process my temp employment pass. Looking forward to teach the kids.
Toodles for now. Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year to all!
PS: Pics that we snapped in Cameron Highlands will be up very soon. Stay tuned

Update: Here they are
Reminiscing the past and present year
2008 has been great at the beginning as well as at the end, but the beginning was AWESOME. I never expected myself to be travelling all over Europe. I think I didn’t really capture much of the travelling experiences and my adventures in my blog but deep down it was a memorable student exchange all in all. As for the end, it sure was a very hectic one. Hong Kong trip, Christmas Caroling etc. Honestly, I didn’t remember much about caroling last year. Vague memories of caroling in Berjaya Times Square (was it last year or the year before?), the Curve?? O f course not to forget Grand Millenium (This one I remembered. The first place we carolled and the very last too).
1: We didn’t snap alot of pics last year. Don’t remember any of them uploaded on facebook
2: Met Wai Kuan Jie whom I had the pleasure of singing again with her once only this year:( (But good enough liao la haha)
3: Too many gigs doesn’t mean its a good thing coz the voice can tire easily and cannot do well for every show, although the money will be good
2009 was a very eventful year and also a sad one. In July, I had my commencement and the whole family was in Singapore. I had a blast interning at Singapore Sports Council, which I had blogged quite abit on the experience. I also envisioned being a part of SYOGOC, which eventually didn’t materialise. At that point in time, I pondered alot on what my career will be like. Going back in time, looking at my on-and-off diary writing, I envisioned myself being a music student in uni, hoping to graduate and most probably teach music and perform ocassionally.
It’s funny how my visions never materialise. When I dreamed of being a music student, I went on to read Business in NUS instead and totally “ditched” my piano and choir. Ok, “ditched” sounds abit extreme, but I tried to keep up by participating in Choir and A Cappella, Piano Ensemble during my uni years. At the same time, I experimented with composition and ended up composing one chinese song, and leading a team of 4 in composing 11 songs for a hall musical. Looking back, it was definitely an achievement .
Studies wise, I could have been better. Of course I can always blame myself for not studying harder in year 1, the year where I was too engrossed in my CCAs and thus neglecting the most important year in uni. But considering that I managed to graduate with 2nd Class Honours from NUS, it isn’t that bad after all. (Right???:D)
After graduation , I set my sights on the logistics field, but the logistics field is very big, male-dominated , and low pay for an entry-level position. But passion is always what drives me and not really the $$. So I just prayed to receive a job offer related to logistics.
September 2009 was when I decided to remove my spinal implants due to a chronic infection at two ends of my spine. Going under the knife for the 2nd time doesn’t scare me as I am quite brave :D. Having gone through a long recovery for the 1st one, I had expected a much shorter recovery than the 1st, and it turned out to be faster than I had expected. But that month wasn’t just about the short recovery, but also the lost of my father. The last time I saw him was on the 14th night, hours after I had my surgery. I was very weak at that time, with 3 packs of blood waiting to be transfused into my body and another 3 packs for the 2nd surgery the next day( There was something tissue thing that resulted in leakage hence I need a 2nd surgery). The next day was his passing. It was definitely a shock as no one expected him to “go away”. At the very least, we knew that he was with the Lord and that he passed away peacefully in his sleep. The hardest thing was that I knew it only after the funeral as I was still recuperating. I still remembered when my mother vaguely told me that my father was in the critical unit battling for his life, but he was already in heaven at that time. Each time I hear my phone ringing, I would think that it might be bad news and started panicking and crying.
October 2009- Still coming over terms with my father’s passing, and getting ready to look for a job. It’s funny how one thing leads to another. My aunt sent me an email asking me to apply to be a piano teacher and I decided to apply for a teaching position with MOE. I also applied actively for other positions . By Mid-Oct, barely a month after my surgery, I went down to Singapore for 4 interviews. With God’s guidance, He chose the teaching path for me, and I gladly accepted it. Wanted to teach music so badly, but unfortunately I got English and Math. Butbutbut, I’m looking forward to teaching kids, and hopefully I will adapt well and enjoy my teaching. It won’t be easy, but I’m sure I can overcome all the hurdles that I may face in the midst.
The lesson I learnt over the years is to never envision what will you eventually be: career, family etc. My experience had taught me what I envision will not materialise most of the time but something new sprouted instead. The best is to leave it to God. Pray to Him and let Him lead the way, the path for you.
Praise the Lord!

Nosy People
Nosy people got no right to know my affairs. It's that simple.
If you are not close to me, you don't have the right to "laugh" at my inability to look for a job. I never regretted my decision interning with SSC, because I knew from my instincts that this job will open up to alot of opportunities. This is proven from my previous post. I really had the feeling during interview, that I will really enjoy this internship (in which i really did). The people here have been super nice and hospitable.
Sometimes I don't understand why people, not even close to me, not even smarter than me, but yet think that they are better than me just because they got a job offer no later than a month after they graduate. I really think getting a job early doesnt mean you are on top of the world, and securing a job much later doesnt mean u r lousy. I got a job offer in May, MIND you! But I rejected it on medical grounds, and I also thought over and would think that the job is not really my cup of tea. If you are my friend, during these times, you will be more supportive of my job search, and not tease me indirectly. I'm not an idiot. I can sense when somebody is trying to be sarcastic and poke fun of me. Don't think I don't know. I have very strong instincts oK??
Ok, this kind of ppl just doesn't deserve to my friend I guess.
ANYWAYZ,I really thought through about my career path. And I have come to a conclusion that I wanna do LOGISTICS!Yes..I think logistics really ignites my passion. the other option is to do accounting. but for accounting, I din really enjoy my internship as an accounts assistant a yr ago. I can be a potential accountant with my meticulous attitude. But I think there was a reason as to why I din want to take accountancy in NUS. And I think it may be the right choice after all :)
So Logistics it is...PRAY I will land with a good job..decent..good prospects..and its a logistics related job..
If you are my friend, pray for me, wish me well...:)

Opportunities Arised!
Hehe its a happy day yesterday and today. Partially cause it was the last meeting with the official logistics provider and YOG. Good thing that everything turned out well overall. We even have their t-shirt specifically printed for AYG :D
Of course, the happiest moment was when YOG approached me for my number haha hilarious. And a informal chit chat with the DHL director.
Also had a very nice group photo (hm, not sure how to obtain this photo though)at the end of the meeting.
And then today, I submitted my CV to one of my colleagues, and he feedback to me that very afternoon that I'm over-qualified for the other olympic council job. His friend was quite impressed with my cultural achievements. Honestly speaking, I don't really want to go around telling ppl of my past achievements back at home when I was growing up. Haha it was good receiving this sort of feedback, and it's a relieve at the same time.
I think that at this age, I can be very proud of myself, considering that I have finally obtained my degree from a prestigious university, accomplished alot back at home before coming to the Lion City, travelled around the globe before my exchange stint and during my exchange stint (having a very global mindset), going through pain (through surgery). To me, it has been a whirlwind 22.5 years of my life. And I'm going to live my life to my fullest. All this could not happen without my parents, sisters, relatives, piano teacher, friends back at home, and the one very important person, Lord God.
Although I haven't had time to commit my faith these years, He has been showering His blessings and watching me as I grow up. And i hope in time to come, I will gradually learn and understand Christianity and Jesus. Still stuck at Genesis 14 :P
Yay, hopefully all works well after I'm back!

Post Games-zhobo-4 day long weekend
Well my title pretty much says it all. Post games means nothing much to do, and with the 4 day long weekend, I thought I would have bore myself to tears at home haha. But that wasn't really the case.
Friday 17/7: I went to harbourfront Centre to buy my Bus Ticket. coz Firefly 10pm flight was sold out WTF...if not i wud have fly. Haven't tried flying for a long time SG-KL. Plus I wanted to see T3, eat and shop:P after that went over to Vivo to use my Godiva voucher:P I wanted to buy chocs instead coz I can keep and the drink is too rich for my tummy as I nid to conserve it later for my dessert(more on that later). anyhow chose two chocs at first, then the Godiva staff stared at me like some toot aunty (I chose to dress down that day. Anyhow wear and wus sweating hee). She told me that I have to purchase at least 10 bucks to enjoy the five dollar discount, two chocs ain't enough, suggesting me to choose another one. So in the end three chocs@50 grams for 12.50.minus the discount making it 7.50 (One piece for 2.50).Seriously, the chocs are freakin expensive!!if it wasn't for the discount,i would definitely not buy it. Can live with other cheap chocs..as long as it's choc:D
Later, I head down to Bugis,Liang Seah street to be exact coz during our steamboat gathering on wednesday, we actually passed by that street to have dessert @ Crystal Jade. However I went there to specifically try Ah Chew desserts, which we couldn't go there the other day due to the massive crowd.
Firstly I ordered the Mango Sago Pomelo, coz I knew that was what i wanted to order, although I want to order aloooot more other things:D(red bean, steamed milk something..mmmm)Ok admit, that mango sago is not really my favourite, coz its too creamy for my liking, or maybe I just din like the addition of pomelo. Should have done it without the pomelo, and 30 cents cheaper somore (though the Pomelo is freshly peeled and cut). Was about to leave, then asked my housemates whether they want any dessert. WT wanted his peanut and seasame paste, so i also packed barley beancurd with gingko nut (love this coz of the barley and gingko hahah)
Saturday 18/7: Nothing much. Spent the afternoon karaoke-ing by myself at home, until one of my housemates came home haha..Shy shy..she heard me singing from outside haha..This is how i Kill time. Then at night, took my housemates to Old Airport Road. CY had prawn mee, SY had korean food, I had *yawns* western food (donno why i keep choosing dumb food when im supposed to choose true blue hawker), then WT and Kelly went for a few rounds i think, Hainanese Curry Chicken Rice, then the Hougang famous Wantan mee, CY also treated us Charsiew and prawn Chee Cheong Fun, then Kelly with hainanese satay..was really fun bringing them to the hawker Centre.
Sunday 19/7: Hehe looking forward to this day. Coz am goin Tampines 1 to shop with Sze and dinner. Reached there slightly before 4. Felt very insecure without my mum accompanying me shop. Wait for Ah Sze to come, then basically teman her shop. She felt abit "guilty" coz she doesn't want to be the only one buying or trying clothes. So I had to join her haha. First up was Uniqlo, this very popular Japanese apparel shop. Seriously, dun think those clothing are my type haha. After like 2 hours of shopping, we finally settled down for dinner at F.I.S.H. Sorry, no pics. But it was really a good dinner. For starters, we had Peri Peri Squid (Which was pathetically small for 6.90). Our bruschetta with smoked salmon wus freaking late, by then our main course was here. I had the Barramundi with Cheesy Crust, while Sze had the Sambal Sting Ray. I jokingly told her that hers remind me of the grilled stingray sold at hawker centre. Luv the chilli to bits. The bruschetta came half way thru our mains, and it tasted strongly of garlic (Reminds me of my garlic bread) plus some pathetic pieces of salmon.
It was good overall, but really hate the pathetic appetizers portions. Mains was decent, but I donno issit because we had starters so it was just nice after downing our main.
Later on, we went shoe shopping at Schenkers. Girl has problem deciding between two green shoes hahaha.
After that, we head to Say Cheeze! shop for ..cheesecakes!! Ordered the six cheesecakes sampler haha. Coz we wanted to try the main ones. Pics for ur enjoyment
From left: Cheesecake, drunken Raisin, Raspberry White Choc, Marble?, Choc, Oreo
Cheesecake wus std, drunken raisin wus well...drunken!!After we left we kinda felt woozy lol, Raspberry White Choc wus good..Sze's favourite. I polished the Choc and most of the Marble as girl din like choc cheese :D Oreo shud be my fav, but somehow it tasted like the normal cheesecake. So nothing special haha
That place is interesting lor, they even sell green tea red bean cheesecake (which Sze was craving badly for. Still haven't got over ur Jap trip hor? actually i love green tea red bean too), Lychee Cheesecake, KEY LIME cheesecake (I luve lemon lime blabla whatever), and many more la..this is seriously the place for cheesecake lovers!
Ok by that time it was 9pm olredi. We had dinner about 6:15pm so it wus eat shopping eat haha. After that, we went straight to esprit hee. Found some tops that I like so in the end i bought two. Sze wus worse! She liked so many tops, she had a hard time choosing lol. I was quite hesitant buying this top. Yellow wus M and the white was L. I wanted to buy L yellow since yellow looked good on me, but sze said M fits me..but i wasn't very used to wearing this kind of top haha.Makes me fat!But i still bought it in the end. Donno whether I will wear it or not teehee.
Had ECC, so on top of the discounts we had (30% for one of my tops), we had 10 % discount on all items as member. Then Sze's top was a regular priced top, so I used the $10 voucher haha. Five tops for 140.78 :P The damage was big haha but only 50 bucks wus my share, the rest is the rich girl's one (Banking jobs are good $$) Then donno la as member, u get alot of crappy vouchers from Dome, Browhaus (hehe can go thread my brows). Wooh, by the time we reached the interchange..it wus like...10pm!! Can't believe i spent 6 hours in a mall. I guess eat shop eat really does kill time..sweet!
Yep, that sums up my weekend but not my Monday haha. So here am I wasting my morning blogging, checking mail and the latest news. Then later see if i wanna go out shopshop look look. Or shall I go back uni and watch choir concert, which I haven't done for a long time haha.
Tuesday will be exciting coz I can't wait to catch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince :D..Till then

AYG- Games time!
I last blogged before the games. Pre-games was definitely hectic according to my friend, but I was rather busy coordinating post games haha.
Surprisingly, games time was the most zho-bo time and was the time that we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest.
There were definitely lots of "perks" that came together with it:)
Almost everyday, we clocked in half day only coz by then, we wud have nothing to do. Then we would ponder which location should we go and watch the games. board the shuttle and watch the excitement!
We watched all of the sports, except shooting sailing and swimming as well as diving..all the boring ones..but would love to look around and see how's the competition venue like.
Learned quite abit on sports :athletics and football (verbally vulgar game hee). Get to experience the atmosphere wooh.
Haha the best part was, we get to go Swissotel to dine hee..think we were there for more than 5 times i'm sure..So got to eat good stuff haha..
K nothing much, let the pictures do the talking..Stay tune for post games
Football @ Jalan Besar Stadium
Athletics Prize-giving (Victory) Ceremony
Hard at work :P (Am in orange, supervisor in black)
Siloso Beach @Sentosa (beach Volleyball)

Wonderful Vacation
Long time no blog..
Well I was one of those few who started work super early. Not that its work, but attachment at SSC.
Most ppl would be wondering why a graduate would do an attachment.
Well it's simple. I got the internship offer before i got a full time job offer one month later. As a person who adopts the first come first serve principle, I gladly accepted the internship. I donno what got me so pumped about the internship. I really felt myself being super enthu during the interview that during work, which is now, my supervisor told me that I was enthu till I asked about the post games job scope.
Then came the full time job offer. Shall not talk about it
My attachment at SSC started off very slowly, so slow that I kept complaining to my fellow intern friend that we have nothing to do!!!
Now that the pace has accelerated, time flies, and heck i'm into my 8th week of my internship. Job is very challenging but yet fun,. Somehow I feel very pumped when I go to work, even though I have to travel about an hour to work.
My supervisor aka boss is our BizAd senior, very nice person. First day already treat us lunch. I have lost count of the number of times he bought us drinks, lunch or whatsoever, even breakfast this morning too.
My very first impression of him was he's bright, inteliggent and he knows what he's doing. And he has very very good memory, all thanks to his dependable filebook (donno how to call it).
Ppl's first impression of me: I seem quiet according to them. I think it's just my personality. I am shy to strangers during the first few weeks. And as I get to know them better, I gradually show them my personality. And sometimes, my personality can differ according to the people I mix with.
With my fellow intern friend, I'm still ok, normal. Just that sometimes, we will have our disagreement over things haha.
Ok and then just about two weeks ago, after I attended my GE interview. My boss suddenly said I'm sibei high that day hee. And that's how it started...The suaning between my boss and me. I think I over-suan him that week, and the next week, it was my turn to get it. :@ And my dear friend would say that both of us are nuts haha. It's really fun man.
And speaking of this internship (my third olredi), this internship is challenging because it progresses, and it's never routine, unlike my previous two internships.
Time really flies, with the games starting tomorrow. Am gonna enjoy my working hours 8am-9pm lol. And after the games is over, it would be just in a blink of eye, before I bid goodbye to my fellow colleagues, and move on (hopefully not coz I'm thinking of applying for a perm job there).
I guess that should sum up what I have been doin for the past 7 weeks
After which, I will go back and go for my spine op to remove my implants blablabla..To me it's just another procedure. I have endure the first one, which was really painful. To go for the second one does not scare me. I am brave enough to weather the storm, and hopefully with God's blessing, everything will be smooth sailing.
And after that, hopefully come back here and secure a full time job, get a place to stay, and stay with my bestie
Ok, if there's anymore will blog in my next post..

Thought of the day-Deal or no Deal
Hehe. It was so funny that I just had to blog it.
My lecturer on Managerial Decision Analysis mentioned about Deal or no Deal on Monday's lecture. So i decided to google it
I clicked on this link to play the deal or no deal game online.
I chose bag no.16 and started playing
My offers were like this:26000,69000,200 plus k, then finally i gave up at 100 plus k
And when they revealed my bag, it contained 1mil BUCKS!Oops not like that it's real, but I wonder do they do that in everyone's bag or its just plainly random. I think it should be random, if not people wont play that game again huh.
What's interesting is, since people play this game for free, meaning no entry fee, they tend to be risk seeking even when their offer goes really low, since they have nothing to lose. The same went for me. I didn't even want to take the 200k offer although its alot, only to admit defeat the next round.
Hehe greedy me, or not i wud have been a "millionaire"..Indeed!
oh another point is, I realize that this is either based on the US or UK version, and man the banker is generous. IN class, one of my peers said that the banker's first offer is at least ard 20k, which is wayyyyyy alot than in Malaysia.
Malaysia's version ah, starting offer only like few hundred or maybe 1k plus.
I guess, action speaks louder than words.
